But trust us, it was NOT always this way.
There was a time when we seriously stressssed at the end of every month, worrying about how many of our downlines were working their business and if we'd be able to keep that hefty commission check we'd come to rely on to live!
We were so obsessed with recruiting that no one was safe from us. The Costco checker? Yep, talked to her about our business. School crossing guard? Nabbed her on the first day of school. Oh, and that random mom at the park who thought we were being friendly when we struck up a conversation? We were trying to recruit her.
Ugh. It's mortifying to think of now!
And don't get us started on the dog and pony shows we put on for our teams to try to motivate our downlines to work. (Somewhere there is video evidence of us wearing fruit on our heads, a la Carmen Miranda, to try to motivate our teams.)
We have PTSD from the awful things we did in the name of growing a business.
